In winter, raising the statue off the ground is vital to prevent cracking, pooling, and the accumulation of frozen water. Elevating the statue by a few inches allows air to circulate the cast stone, which helps prevent freeze-thaw damage. If possible, store the statue indoors. Cover the top with burlap and wrap it in dark plastic if you leave it outside. Be sure to check regularly to ensure that no water accumulates. Before the first freeze, remember to raise, dry, and cover the statue.

In winter, all benches, table legs, and statuary should be raised off the ground so they do not freeze to the surface.

Items with pool water areas should be wrapped with burlap or any absorbent material (an old blanket or towel) and then wrapped with dark plastic, ensuring that water does not accumulate and freeze.

• All the cast stone pieces are hand-painted to order. This method differs for each color. After the color is applied, all pieces are sealed.
• Color variations will occur and are part of the unique quality of the fountain.

Depending on the color selection and environmental conditions, a touch-up may be needed after several years. Paint Kits are available in 10 oz bottles or gallon-size jugs.
